چکیده
The high renewable penetration will cause the power system operation mode (PSOM) to change frequently. At present, selection of PSOM mainly depends on experience relevant staff. However, selecting based is difficult comprehensively and elaborately analyze possible PSOMs within a dispatching cycle, which inevitably invites troubles planning dispatching. In this paper, data-driven analysis method proposed, integrates techniques preprocessing, dimensionality reduction, clustering, data visualization high-dimensional sets operation. Simultaneously, qualitative quantitative methods are used analyze, evaluate their development laws. Finally, verify effectiveness proposed multi-level refinement extraction PSOM, normal (NPSOM), transition (TPSOM), extreme (EPSOM) obtained analyzed according real urban system. abundant results show that fine-grained compelling, facilitating grid enterprise planning.

Degree of Optimality as a Measure of Distance of Power System Operation from Optimal Operation
This paper presents an algorithm based on inter-solutions of having scheduled electricity generation resources and the fuzzy logic as a sublimation tool of outcomes obtained from the schedule inter-solutions. The goal of the algorithm is to bridge the conflicts between minimal cost and other aspects of generation. In the past, the optimal scheduling of electricity generation resources has been ...
متن کاملA Direct Power Feeding System for AC Railway Networks Using Modular Multilevel Converter
Abstract Traditional railway power supply systems impose substantial power quality problems (PQ) on the utility network, such as unbalance, harmonics and a large amount of reactive power. This paper proposes a topology based on three-phase to single-phase modular multilevel converters (MMC) to obviate these problems. The MMC based traction substations (TSS) are connected directly to the utili...
متن کاملSliding Mode Control of Multilevel Power Converters
The application of sliding mode, a non-linear robust and self-contained approach, to the control problem of electronic power converters, is outlined and illustrated. On-line sliding mode control is suited to multilevel power converters as they are inherently variable structure systems. Obtained controllers are robust concerning parameter variation and perturbations and provide "Just In Time" sw...
متن کاملPower Grid Dynamics: Enhancing Power System Operation through Prony Analysis
Prony Analysis is a technique used to decompose a signal into a series consisting of weighted complex exponentials and promises to be an effi cient way of recognizing sensitive lines during faults in power systems such as the U.S. Power grid. Positive Sequence Load Flow (PSLF) was used to simulate the performance of a simple two-area-four-generator system and the reaction of the system during a...
